The memorial display was constructed using 1000 crosses purchased from the Lady Haig Factory. The design went through a number of iterations until we arrived at the final version. The original intention was to have our pupils inscribe each cross with the name of one of the soldiers we had investigated during the project but with the deadline for the exhibition fast approaching we had to abandon this concept. Below you can see the display being laid out and some shots from the photoshoot done by the Aberdeen Press and Journal of two of our pupil volunteers and Lewis Gibbons of The Great War Boys.
